The Bangkok International Motor Show 2016 was held for fourteen days from March 21 to April 3, 2016 in Bangkok, Thailand. Held for the 37th time, it was visited by 1.65 million visitors from countries around the world. Every year at this event, the day before press day is open as a trade show, and this year 33,000 cars were actually sold.

The Alpine Booth, with its theme "Alpine Style—Car by Car System Solution," exhibited three demo cars: a Toyota Vellfire, a Toyota Revo, and a Toyota Fortuner, as well as demo boards. The booth also unveiled large-screen car navigation systems and the TOPVIEW® Camera capable of 360°visual confirmation, all developed as car model-specific products.

The functions and picture quality of the 360°TOPVIEW® Camera installed on the newest Toyota Vellfire continually drew exclamations of surprise from many of the visitors, and the design and sound quality of the 3WAY speakers fine-tuned to match the Vellfire attracted viewer interest every day.

The Alpine booth hummed with excitement throughout the event, as many visitors showed interest in the 9-inch model-specific large-screen navigation system installed in the Toyota Revo as well as the similar 8-inch navigation system installed in the Toyota Fortuner.

The Alpine Booth was awarded the Best Design Award 2016, based on a selection by event goers who were impressed by the luxurious atmosphere of the booth and the stylish design of its demo boards. This is the fifth consecutive year that it has won this award.
