FAQ in case of Customer get suddenly power-off (IGN-OFF) from any accident or battery effect(crashing), while update the software.
1. What the audio condition?
→ Audio can turn on normally if unit is not in initialize (overwrite) stage, Must keep Engine running all the time to avoid any trouble.
2. Can customer recover it back to properly condition?
→ If software struck in the middle of downloading , Customer could recover by ACC off / on and re-install SW again.
3. Need to send to service center to clear them?
→ If any trouble occurs Honda can contact to Service center & AATH.
4. Labor cost for Remove & Re-install (dealer charge)
→ If it is customer cause , Alpine can’t accept R&R and repair fee.
5. Can dealer request Link unit ?
→ only in-warranty unit that Dealer will be able to request Link unit, Out of warranty is not.
In another case, If the updating has completed, But the error encounter. Can customer make re-update to DA ? → Yes.
